The CU Energy Day 2015 will be held on 26 Oct 2015 and is now calling for registration. This year we were honored to have three invited speakers to share their discoveries and the most state-of-the-art technology in the field. 

• “Triboelectric Nanogenerator for self-powered systems and large-scale blue energy”, Prof. Zhong Lin WANG, Regents Professor, School of Material Science and Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia; Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China

• "China's Energy Strategy and Policies", Dr. Fuqiu ZHOU, Director, Energy System Analysis Center of Energy Research Institute, National Development and Reform Commission, Beijing, China; Vice director, Energy Efficiency Investment and Assessment Committee of China Energy Research Society

• "Nanostructured Materials for High-Performance Energy Conversion and Storage", Prof. Hongjin FAN, Associate Professor, School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University

This year, we have established two contests to encourage the active participation by all students:
Best Poster Contest – Selection criteria will be based on the content and quality of the posters.  The best 10 posters will win a cash cheque of HK$ 500 and an award certificate. 
Art of Scientific Image Contest – Selection criteria will be on the artistic quality of the images. The best 10 images will win a CUHK souvenir and an award certificate.
